Light 'er up

Maybe it's the late hour; maybe it's the Ambien talking, but I've still been thinking about this for a while. I'd love to have a computer case that would show all the innards (you know, the guts) and have all kinds of lights on it, both inside and out.

I like ... no, I love lights. They enthrall me. And if they do things, like change colors or blink, that's even better.

I'd also be interested in quality components that had lights (like the fan and such) and cool looking displays on the front. This would, of course, be for a build.

So all of you out there who love pimped out computers like I do, tell me what you've got - or would like to have. Show some pics if you want. Those are worth a thousand words, I hear, and that would save you a lot of typing.

At any rate, fill me in on the best stuff out there. And thanks for your guidance. It will help me in fulfilling a paultry, yet tangible dream.

Well...there are cases with a window in the side so you can see the "innards". You can also get some that have LEDs on the fan. The case in my signature has both of those things. But it's cable management is terrible :o. You can always buy your own LEDs and attach them to your case :).

My favorite lighting is UV lights combined with UV reactive acrylic.

Wow. The pictures are stunning. I'm probably looking for a case that has a window in it with some fan lights and maybe some other lights. It was probably the Ambien talking, cause I'm looking for something a little more subtle. But I do so like lights. Any idea of where I can go to purchase something like that? I've scoured the net, but I haven't come up with exactly what I'm looking for. Is there a good source for that kind of stuff? Thanks folks.

If I recall correctly I got the case and lights from Xoxide.com, they have lots of cool lights, fans and other case mod stuff. I don't think they still carry this model, but all you have to search for is "uv acrylic" and you'll find similar cases.

EDIT:
They all make UV reactive spray paint which you can use to create a similar effect with an existing case. I've been wanting to try that for a while.

I'd grab a case with some LED fans and then maybe add a few more LED fans; then grab a cold cathode or two to light up the case. :D Make sure the LED fans and cold cathodes are the same colour though - blue would look cool.
