R robbb New Member Aug 16, 2006 #1 hello just received a used epson perfection 1660 photo. this scanner works better than my old one but has no on and off switch so the light inside stays on. is this normal? thanks rob

D dave597 VIP Member Aug 16, 2006 #2 my scanner does that. just switch it off at the plug if you're not useing it.
