Lightscribe

Your drive should come with a software suite designed for that drive...I would try that first and see what it was like.

Most or all OEM drives dont come with anything, the only thing i needed was the host software (as do all lightscribe drives)... i think you can find it off hp's site too

yea i was about to say i didn't think the oem drive would come with anything, but you think i can just get what i need online from samsung (if i get the samsung drive)?

Yeah i have that exact one, its works out of the box... the only thing you need is the Lightscribe Host software i showed you, you have to have it with any lightscribe drive you buy.

But as far as lightscribe/burning software you have to buy it, i love the Media Now software i bought, so much you can do with it. I like it better than nero and its like $60 cheaper. Its called "Media Now CD & DVD Burning Suite"

Just some options

No, OEM drives come with nothing but the drive wraped in bubble wrap, there are a few drives that come with somthing like a old version of nero and thats a few

the nero that came with it even thoug hold it has lightscribe capability but you just need to download the lightscribe support first.

I bought the same drive and i got no software, some of the reviews say they did and come say they didn't so i guess you have a 50/50 shot at getting the cd :P
