Lingering effects of FakeAlert virus or something else?

Hey John! I went to start run> combofix / uninstall it runs its course like normal. I tried it three times and its still on my desk top. When I originally installed it I downloaded it to c:documents drive then cut and paste to desk top. Would that create an issue? Any suggestions?
 
The correct way in typing it is

combofix /uninstall

there must be a space between the x and the / and no space between the / and the u.

Try it again.
