Hi,
I am a newbie with windows as I was used up to now to use Unix/ linux .
I've bought an eee-pc, from which I would like to download files from the other machine I have .
The two machines are each linked to the gateway provided by my ISP .
I have set up manually a network link setting the address of the eee-pc as
192.68.0.1 and 192.68.0.2 for the other machine .
Logged as Admin (pushing F8 at startup and choosing failsafe mode with network support ) on both machines , I tried within the file explorer to double-click from the eee-pc on the icon of the other pc, that actually appears .
I get an error message stating that I don't have the right for the session required .
Does someone know how to fix that ?
And is there a way to download files from a machine via ethernet without logging in as admln ?
Thanks for your help,
Cédric
