Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless B Router Probs

Good morning! Recently I moved to another house and hadn't had my network up for a while since I was doing work on one of my computers. Now that my second computer is working, I went to set up my Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless B Router and can't get online. I re-checked the connections a bunch of times and they're correct, just like they've been for the past couple of years of me having this router. All the lights are on on the router and my cable modem like usual. I even connected the computer directly as before and can get online. I also made sure that the firmware was up to date as well. In a fit of frustration, I called Linksys where a nice guy named Jeff told me he'd be glad to help "reconfigure" my router settings for $30. Uh, nevermind that. Can any of you smart people help out a clueless newbie please? In Star Wars terms, "Help me, Obi Won Kenobi! You're my only hope!". :D

Yup. I plug the ethernet cable directly to my computer and I can access the internet. When I move that connection into the "internet" port on my router and then connect another ethernet cable from the "1" port on my router to the ethernet connection on my computer the lights are on, my connection icon in my worktray says the network connection is on, but no internet. Is my router just not working correctly anymore or am I just overlooking something?

I'm guessing that you have wrong config.
Go to Start > Run > type: cmd > OK.
In command prompt type: ipconfig /all > enter.
Press left+PrtScrn > open Paint > press Ctrl+v > save picture as jpeg then go to: http://imageshack.us/ (or similar) and post the link to the picture here.

EDIT:
I believe that wireless is enabled on your computer :)

It won't help. I just want to see your settings.
And after maybe I'll be able to help.
That's why I'm asking you to post screen shot...
:)

Yeah, that's what I meant. I was reading your post without coffee this morning when I replied. I'll be leaving work shortly and I'll provide the info. Thanks again for helping me out!

How does your IP settings for wireless network looks like?
Try set them to obtain IP and DNS address automatically.
To do this, right click Wireless > Properties.
In configuration properties in "This connection uses the following item:" click "Internet protocol (TCP/IP)" and next click Properties below.
And let me know if that helped...

Maybe try to copy the settings (TCP/IP) from working connection (ethernet) to wireless conection...

EDIT:
Or you might need to do the settings on your linksys.
Like enable wireless or something like that.
I've never used linksys router so I need to search internet for "how to set up".
I don't have time right now. I do that when I get home.
