Hey all,
I'm heading over to my aunts to help figure out why her wireless internet is down. They have one computer down stairs that is directly connected to the internet threw the router in which it is installed on that computer as well. They have another computer using a Wireless G card upstairs that was working perfectly fine before either of these things happened (this computer not used often so not sure which insident it was).
The computer downstairs had another user name put on it that is now the administator and the router is installed on the non-administator acount.
I re-installed the router adding a wireless password so there neighbours couldn't jack there internet. (however I checked the computer upstairs after doing so and the internet did work)
My cousin had gotten in to the router via 192.168.1.1 and changed some configurations to get his ps3 to work.
I reset the router again and re installed it with out any success of getting the internet upstairs working again.
Could the router be fried? or should I re-intall everything including the wireless card upstairs?
