Linksys sucks

i got a linksys wireless usb adapter so i can connect to the wireless in the house and naturally it doesnt work. it gets to the step "aquiring network address" and stays there for hours. i have tried repairing to no avail. first i used the linksys cd for drivers and used windows to connect. it worked for one night and since then not at all. nowi have uninstalled the linksys software and installed windows drivers. it didnt help and i cant fix this on my own

My linksys wireless connection was a hassle too. I think it took a week to finally get it. Don't even bother calling either, the people who answer can't even how can i help you in english

wow. Just beacuse you can't get network access and it says acquiring network address, doesn't mean that Linksys sucks. YOu should learn a thing or two about networks. Even if you bought Netgear or any other company, you would have still gotten the same problem.

You need to configure the right settings in your computer. YOu put in an ip manually and its supposed to be done on auto.
