Linux and Mac

Need your opinion please--can Linux and Mac coexist on the same systems?

If not, why not?

if so, how?


Any Web Sites I can go to to get any information that supports any of these questions?

Just needing some information for a report and I don't know much about either of these systems.

Yes. OS X can be used on a PC but it's not legal (and very difficult :P ) Mac's can apparently boot to Linux among other OS's using bootcamp, so they could easily boot between OS X, Linux, etc. As with a PC, the hard drive simply needs to be partitioned.

I don't know of any sites right off, but I'm sure searching a bit on google would help. Look for boot camp and linux. A mac pretty much has to have OS X on it, so anything you find would be a boot between "Mac" and Linux.
