linux and wifi card?

alright screw it, Linux sucks. I have been working on trying to get it recognize my wireless card for like five hours. Did a crap load of google and checking other message boards. I even think the software it comes with is garbage. I like where everything is located on the OS. I was willing to give Linux a shot but having the problems I'm having there not worth it.
