What Linux distro and what version have you installed? What Windows do you have installed, XP or earlier?

Ok... Well I did what I didn't want to to... I have a shitty ass version of linux called ubuntu. The screen res is at 640 x 480 which I cant change! So any help with that would be apreciated! I don't even have a win xp cd to fix this entire mess!!!!

If you partitioned correctly your Windows installation should be fine. It's just a matter of booting it.

Have you tried simply reinstalling Grub? Where did you install Grub? If you can get a hold of pretty much any kind of Windows boot disc you can reinstall your MBR.

Wow... Yes, I realize this now... I am now running Mepis which is kind of cool!

I did lose windows which SUCKS! I just got my sound working and am really happy about that! It has been a battle but is slowley getting better... I'm downloading madrake linux now and will see how that goes! I read about RPM or somthing like that making programs easy to install, which I;m all for!

Linux seems to be a lot better than windows. It doesnt want to pull stupid stuff on me... It just runs and does what I tell it to do.

Ubuntuu isn't "shitty", just lacks in GUI tools.

Did you lose Windows? Check your partition sizes. If they don't add up to your hard drive size, it may still be there, but not recognized by your bootloader.

Linux IS better than Windows. It's a bit shaky in the wireless hardware, and WinModems are basically a loss, but the wireless is getting much better, WinModems are a waste of time, anyway, and come on... How many wireless cards do you have? How much money/time do you spend on Windows viruses and crashes? That's what I thought.
