i've just managed to get screenlets installed v0.1

I'm trying to add new screenlets but i download it and when i try to install the new one it says error archive doesn't contain a file with screenlet name or something. or maybe wrong version.
I'm donwloading from screenlets.org
how can i add new screenlets

Download any Screenlet and Extract it to $HOME/.screenlets.

Edit:

.screenlets is a hidden folder. When you are in your home directory press CTRL+H to show hidden folders.

were do i find that. I go into home and it doesn't have any folder called .screenlets. Can't seem to find it any where

Are you running Ubuntu? If so, when you are in your home folder press CTRL+H or go to View> and check Hidden Files.

linpus linux tried ctl + h and showed hidden files but no .screenlets

edit: i found a screenlets folder in usr/local/share/ screenlets that has folders of all the ones that were preinsalled with the program but i tried pasting new folders in and it won't let me. I guess i have to do using a terminal command or something? any ideas on how.

Since you are using Linpus, I bet you are using a KDE Desktop, and if your file manager is Konqueror type in : sudo konqueror and then browse to the location you want to extract the files to. If you are not using Konqueror as a File manager, find out what you are using, and run it as root. For Example I'm using Ubuntu, my file manager is Nautilus, so I type in : sudo nautilus which opens up a root version of nautilus with all permissions.
