can somone tell me what version of linux i can install on a 300mb hard drive and still have room to play around with...

You could always use Knoppix and save your settings to the hard drive.

or if you could just go with a live cd. and just run it. i dont recomend it but it does give you linux to go

tnx for all the posts ppl lolz i made this computer a cace out of lego lolz its pritty awsomzzz i might make it my avitar and i cant get it to detect the cd or the hdd rite now i didnt bother to fix it but it works its old so its built ford tough
