Linux Live HDD copy permissions

As you may have read in my more recent threads, I totally killed my windows installation. I have a ton of Linux-Live CD's, but I am unable to copy anything over to my slave drive (formatted with NTFS). I am unable to copy because it does not have the permissions to copy. What linux-live CD's will allow me to do this??

PLEASE HELP!

well if i recall, (may have been updated) but linux only can read ntfs, you need fat32 for what you want to do

I'm just going to have to poke around my computer and see what I can do. I should have a spare HDD I can use and format.

Thanks Brian.

I couldn't figure out how to do it with Puppy Linux, but I found out the newest version of SLAX has the same support. After a little tinkering I figured out how to mount the drives correctly.

Thanks.
