Linux Mandriva compatible Antivirus

Hi all,

I recently got a copy of LINUX Mandriva OS and i would like to run it alongside WinXP Home on my PC (obviously not at the same time). I was thinking though, as LINUX isnt as widely used as Windows, is there any antivirus/spyware software out there which is compatible with LINUX Mandriva?

You really dont have to worry about it. 99.999% of viruses arent compatable with linux

The only time you need an antivirus for Linux is if you're on a network, and you don't want to transmit Windows viruses to the unfortunate Windows users around you. In that case, AVG and Klam antivirus are good options. Both free. I don't think AVG is open source, though.

I wouldn't even worry about it, like said above, 99.99999% of viruses aren't compatible with linux.
