hi guys.
im currently running vista, and thinking have having Linux or xp installed as well.
I've never used Linux before, im thinking xp would be the best option so i can play games that arn't compatible with vista. I know linux doesn't run many games, what are the benefits

what do you think

If you have never dual booted two OSs on any previous occasion XP would the one to start with. Even that will take some effort depending on how you plan to see the older version installed.

For a gaming machine XP would be the choice for a dual boot with the newer version. Any Linux distro would be for getting familiar with a totally different OS based primarily on the UNIX platform there. Newer distributions do see more support offered for MS type games and apps to some extent even running Windows on a virtual machine.
