Does the XP installer now see the drive? It should see it as a bare drive if the cleaner did it's job correctly. When running Linux here it was added to a second and empty space on a spare drive while 98 was first placed on the primary. This way I could try out different distros with Core 4 being the last one used. But Red Hat distros mainly are intended for server uses anyways. Others rave about Mandrake and Ubuntu along with Puppy Linux for newbies. Somehow we have to get a Linux section going here at some point to answer some of these things.
ya after it was done windows installed like normal im not gonna installing anymore linux distros, theyre all different, complicated, and dont support any of my hardware
I'm waiting to get my spare drive back sometime in order to dual OS it again with another Linux distro along side XP. I won't be going wth Red Hat again however. It's a tickler because you are accustomed to a "point and click" OS where I came up from a manual programming line by line and dos prompt type of atmosphere. Don't feel too bad there. I never got into the UNIX/Linux until trying to run a few distros on the spare drive. Gee with a 170gb of Linux stuff like iso images still hanging around I need my other drive back just to free up some space.
