nope unless you use it to delete important windows files etc. It uses its own configuration settings and is completely seperate from windows other than being able to access your documents etc. Once you start using it youll be hooked lol its a great OS. If you ever want to actually install a linux distro on your comp id use Suse or Kubuntu though, theyre better than knoppix but have to be installed
 
do you know if you just need to download the .iso file for knoppix? There arent't any FAQs that tell you how to download and get it on the CD
 
yes an .iso file is a CD Image. in other words it is the whole contents of a cd compiled into one file. Use your cd burning softwares "write image" mode (or something similar) and it will decompile the files and write them to disk.
 
Wow! This will be the biggest file downloaded to this computer! I sure do hope it works...




By the way, I heard there was one file that this will put on the computer. Does anyone know what the file size is?
