I thought it would be interesting to hear from those linux users that have managed to run windows apps within the linux enviroment and what they where and what was used (Wine, Win4lin, VMware etc.) I personaly had run Macromedia Dreamweaver and flash using Wine about 2 years ago..

I managed to crash Mandrake 9.2 everytime I tried to...I was using WINE

I tried to get trillian to run in linux with WINE but it froze up. I did however successfully run an old DOS version of Sid Meyer's Civilization under linux using a program called DOSBOX.
