I have a 200gb HDD with a few partitions.
I installed vista on one of the working partitions, an 80gb one. It wouldnt go on any other partition.

I want to install Ubuntu on one of the other partitions.


Will this work?


And what Ubuntu version do I need?

I personally haven't dual-booted with Vista, but just make sure you back all your important data up before hand, worst that can happen is you format and reinstall.

Try out Fiesty 7.04, I've had better monitor detection and resolution setting with than previous versions, but that's just me...your results may vary.
