Liquid Cooling help

Since I'm a total noob when it comes to the insides of a computer, I'm not sure if I should get liquid cooling in my system. All I want to know is if there is any need for future maintenance on it, and if a liquid cooling system makes it harder for future upgrades?

I'd prefer to go for the liquid cooling because it's much quieter than any extra fans (Or so that I hear) and I do need a quiet machine. But I won't be able to provide maintenance or any other stuff with it...

Thanks for any help

First off what are your system specs and are you looking to OC or just quiet the system down?

There are two ways to go liquid. You can build your own loop. It will offer better performance but is quite a bit harder to set up and manage. Or you can get a pre filled loop. These will have little to no maintenance (Unless it breaks)

If you are comparing a good tower cooler to a closed loop there isn't really that much of a difference when it comes to sound. in both situations you will be using larger fans that will be blowing air over a radiator or a tower of fins. Both of them will generate some noise.

I seriously would not recommend water cooling for a noob. Unless you are talking about a corsair h100, etc. then that's fine, as it requires pretty much no maintaince and is about as easy to install as 2 flans and a CPU cooler.
