Hi, I had my Lite-On DVD drive since December 2006 and it was working fine. However, today, it cannot load any DVD or CD. What it will do is it would start spinning it and make some noise. This would go on for about a minute and then it would stop and blink the green led 3 times at a time until I took out the media.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
i would try and had to in the past.

Open the tray, use a can of static free air and blow lightly across the laser head. just stick that nozzle inside. easy blow then try.
 
I tried that, but same problem, but now, my computer won't even read the disk drives! I posted another topic addressing this issue and a few others.
