Little star icons showing up on all of my videos

For some reason, these little star icons literally just showed up on all of my videos out of nowhere. Picture provided -

I have no idea where they came from, as I made absolutely no changes or installed any programs. I'm turning up squat on Google search, any help? I want to get rid of them, it just annoys me.

It's probably due to whatever program the file association has been set to. Right click one of them, go down to "Open With" then select Choose Default Program. Choose Windows Media Player and be sure the checkbox for "Always use selected program" is checked.

Seems it got switched over somehow, but it was the same program opening as before. I just switched it to VLC and it worked. Thanks for the help my friend.
