Live Messenger Problems

Hey guys,
I'm having serious problems with my Live Messenger. I connect, open a window, type a message, enter, then disconnection. I reconnect, do the exact same thing, disconnects again.

What can I do to stop this really annoying thing from happening?

OK, I found out the problem;
I have the ZoneAlarm suite, and it has IM protection. I deactivated it and voilà... Dumb ZoneAlarm!
