hi guys, in ma windows Xp pro. the Local Area Connection icon is not visible under the network Connections or even in the system tray.
but the same time my network is workin properly and also i can get the IP details using COMMAND prompt

is ny1 knws how to bring bak my Local Area Connection icon?

thx

Your network connections can't show you the icon and your network is working proporly??? How come. I assume that it should be there in the network connections in the control panel, and you check the box saying, show icon in notification area when connected.

Control Panel
Network
Right click on the network connection --> Properties
Check the box that says "Show .. in taskbar"
:)

thnx for the response..i meant it was ther before and somone played with ma pc later.

nyws i rectified the problem

som1 disabled it frm

controlpanel-->Administrative Tools-->Services-->network connections
