Can LAN administrators access and spy on other computers that are connected to the network with a cable?

answer is yes. Not sure how a large Corp does it. lots of software to monitor where you visit. They can watch you with remote access. Seen a few involved get fired for illegal activity instead of using it for work. At work it was called zero tolerance, no negotiation your fired. many remote software available to watch every move. realvnc and many others.
