Local Network

Hi everybody !

I would like to connect my two computer so me and someone else could play multiplayer games. The problem's that i suck in computer and i really don't know how to create a local network. So, ill hope someone will tell me .

Well you can connect your computers directly with a cross over cable (like an ethernet cord, but not)

You can use a hub,or a router. just plug em in and Wallla!

You will need an ethernet port (or card) on each pc.

well, thats what i thought and i tried it but i didnt work. when i connect the two computers, it says, in each one, that the cable is disconected. is something in my computer broken?
