Local only issues

I have tried two different routers but the problems remain.

With Linksys wireless router and Netgear modem I cannot access my IP cameras but I can access one wireless PC with local and internet.

With a new Centurylink wireless router/modem that just came in the mail today, I can access the IP cameras but that same wireless PC says local, no internet.

It's got to be a issue with the centurylink modem/ router but Centurylink support says the problem is the PC setup.

I'm caught in the middle.... Any help would be great!

Are the cameras and computer assigned static IP addresses? I'd assume that each router came configured with a different default IP address and only one was the correct network address for either the cameras or the computer at the time.

It's not a static IP that I have, I like the linksys router setup(factory setup) and separate Netgear modem better during the day, but at night we use the Centurylink router/modem so we can see the IP cameras. I started swapping the routers setup to get the most out of the system.

I should be able to see the IP cameras on the linksys setup, and I should have been able to see the internet on the wireless PC but I have not found the key to making either setup get both of what I need.

We had a atempted breakin last month and they left here and broke in next door. We were home the neighbors were not home.
How can I setup either to work both?

I've visited several sites that say different ways of setting up each way but the things I've checked on are like the helper says it should be, so really not help at all.

Are you actually connecting to the clink unit itself? I am not sure I am reading this correctly, if you are connecting to the LAN side of this beast but no internet access that is one thing. You are not leaving the other units plugged in and its staying connected to the other router when you have the clink unit setup do you?

I use two router/ modem setups.

1st, DSL, Netgear modem with linksys router and a linksys access point plugged into the router. The wireless PC in the den connects perfectly to the linksys access point. Everything works great in this setup, but my two IP cameras. I can't seem to configure this setup to see the IP cameras with the linksys router. I'm not trying to connect the IP cameras to the access point.

2nd, DSL, Centurylink Actiontek PK5001A router/modem combination, the wireless PC in the den sees the Linksys access point plugged into the PK5001A router but the connection says "Local Only" or no internet. No internet access with the linksys WAP54g access point, but the two IP cameras connect to the PK5001A perfectly.

I'm not using the IP cameras on the internet, just in my home wifi with the Actiontek router.

Every night I have to swap out the two different setups to see my security cameras after dark, and that means at night I can't use the wireless PC in the den because it says local only under the PK5001A.
