Lock folders???

Hey guys I was wondering if you guys knew of a way to password protect file folders. Like pictures and what not. I'm pretty sure there is a way just not to sure how to go about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

In windows you can also right click on a folder ---> properties ---> general ---> Hidden

I'd suggest using TrueCrypt, open-source encrypting software. You don't even need to install it, just extract the software and run it.
