So i wanted to see what access mod's have on my forum.
So i changed myself from admin to mod.
Now i cant access the admin CP to change myself back.
any idea what i could do? im using mybb.

and there are no other admin who can change me.

Sorry i can't help. But, before you made yourself mod.. did you not stop and think that a mod can't possibly have the privilege to make their self a admin? :P

Is there some type of support email or something you can do to have your account fixed by whoever your forum is hosted by?
 
i thought about that just after i did it.

i went to the mybb forums. still awaiting some decent help.

the guy that supplies the hosting isnt on msn... so i cant ask him.
this sucks.

i could possibly restore to yesterdays backup.
but i would prefer not to loose posts and stuff.

It's like locking your keys in your car :P
 
If you installed the forum on a webhost, you should have access to the database via PHPmyadmin or whatever tool the web provider gives you. Open the database and reset your access level.
 
yeah i probably should have posted back earlier saying id fixed it haha

i did go into phpmyadmin and change it.

thanks for all your input. i now have a backup admin account :)
