Hello Everyone,
i wa snot sure where to post this, so its here anyway.
I was wondering, is there a way to 'lock' a folder. Like put a password over it. Cause i got some documments (nothing bad, don't worry!) that i want to keep untouch, and this PC is a family one, so it can easily get touch.
So, is their anyway i can put a lock on a folder? (i will be ading more to it)
btw, its simply previews of movies lol.

Right click explorer, click "new zipped compressed folder" and insert files. In the folder, go to file and click "add a password." the files will then be restricted. If you don't want them to even see the files, put one protected folder into a second one.

You could always just make the folder hidden? with hidden files in it.and disable "veiw hidden files" and then when you want to access just enable the option.
haha make any sense!?

Not really, because they can still be acessed if a shortcut is left somewhere on the computer.

naw, if its hidden, it will give a bad intention :P
i just need a password for it, if someone wants to see it, i can jsut type the password for them.
Anyway, do you know how to put the password on a zip file?
