logging in

I have 2 computers and one goes right to my desktop when I start up but the other brings up a log in page first. I find having to click the loggin prompt to go to my desktop when starting aggravating.I have looked everywhere but can`t find out how to bypass this thing .Could someone please help me. thanks

Does the account have a password??? Are these other uses on the PC, like user accounts?

I am the only user and no I dont need to type a password, just click the the box to access my desktop ,does that help. any suggestions would be so appreciated thanks

if you're using XP go to control panel>user accounts>change the way users log on and off. Then uncheck the box next to "show the welcome screen" I am not too sure about vista as I've never used it, but I would guess it's something similar.
