So I've got a Logitech G9x...it's been a great mouse up until this point. It's been working fine up until today. I used it yesterday to play some Day of Defeat: Source and it was fine. All of a sudden, when I plug it in today, it's not tracking properly. Doesn't move at a constant speed. Jumps all over the place sometimes; super jerky movement. Not sure what happened in between today and yesterday. Haven't dropped it. Nothing looks broken. I recently reformatted my computer about 2 weeks ago so at first I thought my drivers weren't up to date, but up until today it had been working fine so I doubt it's that. But regardless, I checked to see if my drivers were up to date and apparently they are. It's also not the surface that I'm using the mouse on. The mousepad I'm using is fine (used another mouse on it with no problems) but I also tried the G9x on different surfaces...one's that I know should work (i.e. blank piece of printer paper).
So...anyone know what might be wrong? I have this creeping feeling that I'm going to have to send it in to Logitech (3-year warranty on this bad boy I believe) to get it fixed although I'd rather not. But if that's what I got to do I guess I don't have much of a choice. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks guys!
