Hi guys ive been cleaning up my sisters pc for her and have got rid of quiet a few nasty little buggers, i think the pc is free of em now just need someone with a bit more savy to cast an eye over the logs and see if alls ok

Hi I would recommend you dowload and run ccleaner to remove some inter net and sytem history. The program is Ccleaner (search up in google) and is free and widley known so it is backed up to be very reliable. Please be warned that this will remove all the browing history your sister has and all saved passwords so make sure She hasn't forgotten them. Please be wary of using the registry cleaner extra feature as it may remove usefull registry keys. How ever the other features are all very good and will help speed up your computer. Happy fixing
 
Hey, sorry we took a bit getting to you. I looked it over but dont see anything malicious. Has she been having problems? Though there are several items which could be eliminated for speed.

Uninstall the yahoo toolbar

In hijackthis place a check mark by each of these, then click the "Fix Checked" button.

Then restart and re-run hijackthis and post the new log.

You should create a recovery CD when HP prompts you to at startup. And you should actually use DVD's, not CD's to do it.

And if you want, post a program uninstall list from HiJackThis In "Misc Tools" --> "Uninstall Manager" --> "Save List" button then save and copy, then paste it here.
 
Thanks for replying, the problems she had was her son was on the net and had a pop up saying the pc was infected so he installed the programs("ANTIMALWARE DOCTOR" and "DIGITAL PROTECTION) which turned out to be the problem infecting her pc so badly that she could hardly use it or get on the net ive gone through the pc a few times cleaning it all and ridding her of other infections she had i just wanted someone to look through the logs to see if i had got rid of all the infections
I have already made her some recovery disks for the future
 
Please restart the computer then scan with hijackthis again then post the log. Also go to the miscellaneous tools section to the uninstall manager, then save a log of the program list and post it back here.

I'd also recommend having and running the free version of SuperAntiSpyware.
