Lokking For New Laptop

HDD - I usually go for seagate or WD. Make sure you get the correct one, there are portable version which is light and can take it travelling around. While the desktop version require plug to the mains.

Laptop - Toshiba is more reliable, from what I heard.
And Athlon II x2 is later generation of CPU. But the problem of that toshiba is that Windows seems to be 32bit, which limit you to add more RAM in future.

If you can spend $550. I would think this HP is a better option.

I also looked at this one a couple weeks ago.One person told me it would be better than the Toshiba for photo editing and then someone else said the Toshiba was better for photo editing.Something about a graphics card and dual processor in the Toshiba that made it better for that.

I have no idea. According to cpubenchmark.net, M300 score 1320, while T4300 score 1254. And both of them just have onboard graphic... So I would expect the performance would be very similar.
However, don't forget Asus have 4GB RAM, Toshiba have only 3GB...

I see that it has 4GB RAM,but will see a difference in the speed
The Toshiba has a dual precessor and I guess the Asus has one, what's the difference?
Will the dual be faster than a single? - what's the purpose of a dual processor?
