Hey, I recently thought about buying a gaming computer but don't know where to start. I'm looking to run WoW/Gears of War PC at good settings. I also like to convert/encode videos a lot. My budget is $500-600.

Any help would be great!

Are you looking to buy or build it? Building it lets you choose each component, and its a lot cheaper. It's a lot easier than it sounds.

along with generally better warranties if you figure out what is wrong, just post it, and a reduced likely hood of something going wrong thanks to much better quality parts.

Either or. I have no experience in building computers, but if it's cheaper please let me know what to get!

where do you live, us or uk or other, changes what site we use to pick parts from., but from dollar sign i'll guess us and start looking on newegg.

and also, do you have any graphics card now you can use, got a good setup for the prices, but for it you wouldn't be able to get a gpu, and the mobo has no gpu on it, but i had chosen a good cpu and am3+ mobo so you could upgrade later, this is it so for if you'd like to see, and it is a little over, but if you order one thing a few days later they send a ton of coupons, check current deals, and also mail in rebates and coupon codes on the cpu for 10 off now and it pulls it down a decent chunk 'o change
