Look Good?

My budget is roughly $1,000, and the desktop is going to be used for every day things, but primarily gaming, thinking about getting a better CPU fan.

I would get some thermal paste and scrape off the thermal pad that comes with your heatsink and use the paste instead. Your fan and heatsink that come with the processor should be adequate unless your are planning to overclock. Thermal paste is quite cheap, under $9.

Looks good, just go with the PSU below, and get a better CPU fan,

what OS will you be running???
