looking at setting up a wireless network at home

I already have picked out what kind of router I am thinking of getting its this one by linksys http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124010
I have heard a lot of good things about linksys but I don't know a whole heck of a lot on how to set up a wireless network from home. If you all can give me an idea of what all I need to look into purchasing to get this set up correctly at my home.
Any advise you can give will be much appreciated on my part.
 
Ok so you want wireless you are ging to need the router linskys is a good brand or another good one is belkin. Then you will need a wireless adapter that will connect to any other computer you want to make wireless (unless you only have one computer than you willonly need the router because most anything els such as gaming platforms and such have built in wireless) make sure though that ur router is the same brand as your adapter if possible. the router will come with setup softawre just runit and do what it says and you will be ok
 
ok thanks I'll make sure to look at adapter by linksys tonight as well on newegg
they seem to have a really good slection of stuff so I am sure finding something should be easily done.
