Hello Guys

I am looking for a monitor with my newly taken PC Config (as in signature)

My budget is some 300-370$

My requirements are:
22-28 inch.
Good Contrast ratio.
<=4ms response time
Good viewing angle.
Adjustable horizontal and vertical tilt.
HDMI +DVI input
ok-good aesthetics (bezel edge and stuff)

Addons like below would be nice (but not essential for me)
Inbuilt webcam
VGA input
USB
EarPhones
Remote

Can you kindly come up with some options as far following brands are concerned:
LG, SAMSUNG, DELL, BENQ & AOC

At present i am only able to find a couple of options :(
Dell ST2410 - no HDMI :(

Samsung P2370MS

LG M237WA

Kindly help me with other options. I may even try to be bit more flexible with budget if i get what i want.
Thanks

Well i see thats the HD resolution right?
Though i dont have to go much gaming/artistic work, (more calculational computing and movies is what i do),so i want the monitor to be a HD
What are my other options anyway? did you mean less resolution?
Thanks for reply. Kindly help me out. Its been 3 days and i am not deciding anything. Lets do it!

well yes, i think higher the better? i can always change to lower one as per my requirements (just in case if there is an issue). But i dont have an idea how much they can cost. I have to have a look at approximate budget (as i mentioned)
But higher resolution monitors will be costlier also?aint it?
Anyway what you suggest ?

P.S. I am online. Can we discuss this out quickly?

Hello Daisy
Thanks for replying.
Actually as i mentioned only models from those brands are available. So ASUS not a choice for me.
Regarding other models you mentioned of samsung ..again none is available.

If you had to chose between

&

&

Which one you will chose and why? (barring higher resolution and webcam in dell one)
Thanks

P.S. i think gonna hose someone out of these two

My personal prefernce probably be LG > Dell > samsung

LG one have remote control and thus you can use it as TV
Dell over samsung as Dell with 2ms and higher resolution

What now?

lol i made the review in total opposite order. SAMSUNG >DELL >LG
Did you miss few things? i think so!

Here is what i saw":
All are 23 inch
+TFT LCD's
+Same viewing angles

1) Samsung = + Remote + HDMI +composite & component + RT 5ms + DCR 50000:1 + ergonomic Looks + power efficient (50W)

2)Dell = No remote +HDMI + no TV ports + Better RT 2ms + DCR 50000:1 + Ergonomically less useful + More power (65W minimum) + Super HD resolution (needs better GPU to make use of it IMO, more spending?)

3) LG = Remote + HDMI + Composite & SVideo + RT 5ms + DCR 20000:1 + Ergonomic looks + power efficient (50W)

EDIT: LG has got PIP also may be Samsung = LG > Dell??

Now what do you think?

If you have a Frys near you they have HP 27 and 25 monitors on sale a lot. The 27 gets down to $300 or less. The 25 has a nicer picture and get to $250 but both are good. Just a thought. I love my HP 27.

I see the replies on computerforum often are less or maybe i post on other "more active forums". No disrespect here.

Well gabe63, i already ordered the samsung one i mentioned & i feel like it has almost got everything i wanted. (may be a inch or 2 more would have been better)
As regarding Frys, no point; i m in south asia.
I think you seem to mentioning of
http://www.frys.com/product/6040778?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
But don't know much about HP monitor quality. Mostly heard HP is with mainly PRINTING!

Anyway, thanks for reply.
