Hello all, im looking for Display Driver for DELL OPTIPLEX GX260.
Apparently dell itself does not have the driver for that, dell HERE
also i've browsed driverguide but to no avail, they don't have it either, it's for windows XP, any ideas where i can find one, or can i take the driver from another dell optiplex series and install ?

well i dont understand what you mean by display driver. i have never had to download one except for my graphics card. but your asking for one for a computer

so not sure

some web sites says display driver instead of Graphic driver (so i said display too), how come Emperor_Nero understood what i said ?
so far ive tried all the links you gave but none of em works.

(and some ppl might think of display as driver for the monitor:P)

lol i still have no idea

is it a driver for the graphics card in your computer?

or for the onboard graphics? or what

Hey Kuzba the download from the link you provided is not working too, it's really pissing me off, so far i've tried like 5 different drivers
does this screen make me happy ?

damn it

hey Emperor-nero, ive tried it but that don't work too:(
this is getting very frustrating:mad:

Hey patrickv. :)

I can see why, are there any other video drivers installed that might be interfering?

The reason I recommended that driver is because a PCworld article said that's what graphics it had so it should work...

nopes there's none
and i have been fooled by my stupidity, no seriously, those drivers work, i think they do, the problem is with that stinking monitor !!
i don't think it supports resolution of 1024x768 and above, because just today i came with another dell (optiplex 210L) and connected it, and the monitor went in stand-by.
the problem is the monitor, sheesh  , took me a day to realize this:o

haha, thanks again, thanks god i didn't delete those drivers.:P
