Looking for a good PDF Editor

Anyone know of a good pdf editor? I scan files and they save as pdf files but I cannot edit them.

I believe OpenOffice has an add-on or something that lets you "import" PDFs so you can edit them.

I don't want to assault your intelligence, but the full version of Adobe Acrobat lets you edit PDFs obviously, but that's $$$.
 
You can import a PDF into OpenOffice and even edit it, but I don't think it's WYSIWYG. You can convert a text document to PDF with OpenOffice.

I echo Mattu - Adobe Acrobat will do it at a cost. It may be one of those situations where the reader is free but all writers have to be licensed by Adobe (don't quote me on that).
