looking for a graphics computer

my supervisor has recently asked me to find a decent computer that will be used for graphic design and we are not going to spend 2000$ on a computer. he has given 3 different computers to look at but i am not a computer expert at all. we will be installing vector works, corel draw, fx home hit film, and a series of serif software. we have recently purchased 6 hp pavilion 500-505t desktop computer and have 1 MSI Twin Frozr III and a GeForce 9500GT.
here is the 3 computers that he wants me to look into.
powerspec g414, dell xps 8700. the other is a dell xps 8700 but has 2400 sdram. the other has 1600 ram.
i have 2 questions. what is the difference between the 2 dell xps 8700's and if i was to use one of the graphics cards that i have, would one of the desktops that we have already purchased work. thank you in advance!
 
There are many different configurations for the XPS 8700, can you post either a link or just list out the specs and costs of what you're looking at? The difference between DDR3-2400 and DDR3-1600 is minimal, in a workstation I wouldn't look at the speed difference very much, and would focus more on the capacity.

What are you using for a monitor? For graphic design, you'd want a high quality IPS display with a full color gamut.
