Looking for a HDTV!

Anyone of any solid prices for a good 30" Widescreen HDTV? I am soooo HDTV illiterate. I just want a good colored HDTV that'll play 360, PS3, etc... with awesome clarity. I don't have to much money to spare so I'm being real stingy on the purchase. Anyone hear of a $400-$500 with what i'm looking for?

It seems tough to get up to 30" with just a $500 budget. Also, for that price range, you'll only be getting 720p resolution, not the full 1080p that the PS3 is offering.

IF you can do $1000 you'll have a little better options
