Looking for a new, faster wireless adapter

On my sisters computer, she has this terrible dlink wireless adapter (atleast ~4 years old), and its really slow. She gets about 40% signal strength, when im getting 98% or so on my laptop.

Im looking for something that can help increase the speed of her connection, and I would preferably like to order from Newegg.ca. Also, if anyone has any other ideas that might help speed up the connection, that would be great. The router is about 50 feet away or so, and goes through a few walls. And it is a dlink router.

Is the router wireless N? If it is only wireless G then maybe this one....

thats pretty cheap.

If it is wireless N that one you looked at is fine. The more you pay the better the quality in most cases.

so, im assuming its wireless g?

also im leaning towards the adapter I posted before, seems better and will last longer. Even though im not on a wireless n router atm, it should be backwards compatible right?
