Looking for a new MMO

I used to play everquest and everquest 2 for a long time but i got sick of it about 6 months ago i don't know what other good games to try, im obvious an rpg freak and appreciate game depth and complexity.

are there any popular games out. someone suggested vanguard
 
Check out the thread by meb111 about MMO's theres a lot of them listed there you could try checking some of those out.
 
If you like sandbox type games ie: Eq 1 and AC 1 darkfall is supposedly back on track although it may or may not be vaporware lots of different opinions there ( it has been in development for 7 years) I really hope it is not a hoax because it seems like a good game,free roaming world,skill based ,no instances .The kind of sandbox game that really doesnt exist now except the old games.Also another to look at for is Chronicles of spellborne which is definitely coming out.I may try Warhammer online although I would really like to find a game like AC was that was free roaming.

*edit As for the Darkfall it may fail even though it does come out due to the developer taking so long to complete it that its 2001 graphics will be so dated it will be just lumped into the old games group .Everyone wants nice and pretty even though content and game mechanics is what keep you playing a certain game

Star wars galaxies used to be good, now its not worth it. Lord of the rings online is good, then there's World of warcraft, but I think its starting to go out of style.
 
ill sell you world of warcraft, world of warcraft the burning crusade, and lord of the rings online all for 20 dollars
 
Guild Wars

i suggest guild wars if you havent given that a shot um they are working on making guild wars 2 soon so guild wars could keep ya busy til then get any of them if you want oh by the way they are all stand alone campaigns and eye of north is a expansion to the existing guild wars games so if you want to collect them all you can in a few weeks i think they will be releasing a guild wars trilogy with like all 3 original guild wars games for like 50 bucks which isnt that bad a deal being that your getting so much now
 
World of Warcraft is a good game, it justs cost $15 bucks a month to play. But its fun, and kill time.
