anyone lend me £400? :D

I really like the CoolerMaster Storm Scout but i wish they did the fans in blue, but still i think i will go for the CoolerMaster Storm Scout.

You can buy those fans in Red, green and blue. you can replace all of them, it's not that hard. you will have to pull apart and rebuild some areas of the case so maybe you could get someone to help you.

The fans you want are CoolerMaster R4's.

For the OP,Thats same as what i posted, exept its the "Pure black" which is painted inside black for you :)

Id get that over the standard 690,I have mine sprayed black & window modded looks much better :good:

its only 49 but it looks like a good case with lots of fans and a side window with blue lights

I had that case a few years back,Its okay actualy...i removed the fan thing on the front,It does not rotate on its own as i thought it did,It turns with the airflow created by the fan behind it,But other than looks it was pointless because it restricted the air the fan was trying to pull in!

I dont think its worth £50,Maplin have always been overpriced for pretty much everything. :P

EDIT:Heres what i did to mine when i had it :)

It will keep your components cool, however what you have to remember is that with anything from Maplin, they don't tend to deal with branded stuff. It will be made out of thin metal, it will have few to no features such as side mounted HDDs, cable management, bottom mounted PSU etc, it won't be very large and it will be much harder to work in that the Cooler master ones posted, such as the 690 and the Storm Scout

Aaah yea sorry, managed to ovelook your link somehow. From using one, it is one of the best cases I have ever worked with. We put a 5850 in it and it had a good few inches left between the end of the card and the hard drive bay, and if you can find better cable management, please show me :P.

+1 on maplin being overpriced, they also have a horribly narrow range, I'd rather go to scan, OcUK or eBuyer (I'd go with scan or OcUK before ebuyer)

Simple, cheap, effective. Keeps case cool and gives you room for two extra 120mm's in the front. I have the front two blowing in while the rear and top fan blow out. Wind tunnel.

Heat rises, makes sense to have a large top fan right?

Heat goes to where ever its cold so in some cases you are right but if you had an AC by your computer it would make sense to put the outtake on the side even though thats never been done before and its a stupid idea i was just giving an example :)
