Looking for a security review

There were recent hacks done on my PC through LAN, i installed ZoneAlarm Pro but now my PC has slowed down dramatically, and windows is triggering auto shutdowns i.e. a message saying the windows will shut down in _:_ seconds.

I have attached my HiJack this log file, can someone here review and suggest whether i should format my disc or not PS what overall internet security shall i go for.

I know its kind of late but what did you end up doing??

I installed Zonealarm too but it took ages for my system to start up, so I just said stuff it and uninstalled it :D
 
you guys should use Filseclab, zonealarm takes to much resources plus has someissues with load time, ihave used it all and i can tell you that zone alarm is junk, well its protection is pretty good but to slow for systems.

Haha... Anyways nice system... One thing that makes me wonder is vista... lots of problems with it but oh well the ram and HardDrive makes me jelous. Yeah I hear avast is quite good.

If you downgraded to XP pro you would get far more performance and compalabilty with games
 
Well I have the XP version of it
Got it a couple months before vista
but still same RAM and crap

I already have it working High Performace On World of Warcraft, Age of Empires 3, and Sims 2.
I really didnt like Gateways before I saw this on sale at my local costco.

Then My Toshiba is

1.60 GHz
1406mb RAM
And some crappy ATI Graphics Card.

Meh I should really get a good anti-virus program or anti-spyware software... but then I dont go to dodgey sites
