Looking for an app to run .xls files (and not excel)

I am looking for an application that will run .xls files.

One that is sort of like open office (if you know what that is).

What wrong with OpenOffice.org?

P.S. I think most of us know what OpenOffice is.

Microsoft Works or Works Suite should do this. Less than $50 or so.

Excel Viewer? It's free from the MS Site.

What's wrong with OpenOffice, it does open .xls

You can save thgem to open in a IE window.
