Looking for an app to slow down my drive!

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a gui app that I can use to change the speed on my drive on the fly. The reason being is that my DVD drive in my HTPC is a touch on the loud side, and it's kinda irritating to listen to while watching a dvd.

Anyone seen any utilities for this or have any suggestions?

I thought your first post was pretty clear, but I think NERO drive speed is what you're looking for. I have been reading about this because I also am going to get it for the same problem.
