Hey guys. I lost my OEM copy of Roxio myDVD8 and I need it for a project due this week. Do you know of any free software similar to this?

Data or video? For data disks there are several freewares or free versions like DeepBurner, BurnOn, StarBurn for data dvds. DVD neXt COPY is a freeware found at http://www.easydvdburning.com/ for a variety of burn types.
Looking for a way to show my Movie Maker movies (Usually WMV's) on a DVD player with menu's for me to select them.
I may just end up making a VCD with Nero.
Nero is also a dvd authoring software as well as for vcds. In fact that's a rather popular or more preferred software over Roxio to start with.
Here I still am waiting to go for the latest NeoDVD having options to lower quality levels in order to fit longer mpeg II captured onto a dvd-r in Vista and no longerheve to boot into XP everytime for one or two tasks.
For the program at the link there they have the free to try trial version iyou can download right away to see if that is what you will need. NeoDVD 7 by MediaStream is from the same software company that provides the software for AVerTV tuner/capture cards and will burn both dvd and vcd projects with ease.
